CWS220 is a new type of infrared temperature sensor designed based on SI-111 and using wireless transmission. It consists of a thermopile (used to measure surface temperature) and a thermistor (used to measure the sensor's own temperature). Based on infrared measurement technology, it measures the surface temperature of an object in a non-contact manner and transmits the measurement parameters wirelessly to the CWB100 series wireless base station.

The CWS220 series wireless infrared temperature sensor can be widely used for measuring the temperature of road surfaces, plant canopies, soil/snow/water surface layers, especially in environments where it is not convenient to install transmission cables. It is easy to set up and use, and can be connected to a computer through the A205 interface for various program settings, equipment maintenance, or testing.

The CWS220 series can be powered by two AA batteries, and the device also comes with a small solar charging panel that can directly charge rechargeable batteries. The CWS220 series supports CR800 series, CR1000, and CR3000 data collectors. According to the different wireless frequencies used in the CWS220 series wireless sensor interface, it can be divided into multiple models such as CWS220, CWS220A, and CWS220E, which are suitable for different countries or regions.
